Recount

Recount is a writing that tell events in a chronological sequence. A Recount text is like a narrative text in that you have. To write a story, But the story is real. The story may be an event or situation that take place on particular day,And you are the Narrator of whole event. The order of the events happen is very important.

To record or provide factual infomation or give someone an account of event happened in the past

Article,Police report,Historical accounts, Letters, Journal, Incident report,etc

*Structure of Recount text

1. Orientation
 Present the background infomation on the who,when,and where of the event

2. Event/Sequence of events
The event of the Recount are presented in chronological order

3. Re-Orientation/Conclution
The events starts to end and the writer may provided an opinion of what has happened.
